Global Pharmaceutical Merger Integration Support

When two global pharmaceutical companies combined they had enormous operational redundancy. Following a detailed analysis of which systems and processes would best support the new entity, it was determined that no existing solution met the needs of the combined global organization.

Centerline led an effort to define the target state of a series of global regulated processes; performed a detailed gap analysis of any existing capabilities; supported the selection of a solution; developed detailed configuration and customization requirements for the new solution; supported the management of the technology vendor; and prepared the business for process changes.


Divestiture Support

When a global life sciences company was preparing to sell some of its brands they needed to decouple confidential and proprietary business processes and technologies supporting all aspects of those brands, including commercial operations, supply chain management, human resources and finance.

Centerline supported the program management and analysis of the divestiture, helping both seller and buyer understand the impact of the transition by developing a roadmap and transition plan aligned to the negotiated timeline.

Global Methodology Adoption & Change Management

A large domestic provider of retail and direct-to-consumer health care needed to reconcile the IT operating methodologies of multiple acquisitions.

Centerline assessed the variety of methodologies across the different IT organizations and implemented our recommended change management program to align the different methods and cultures to best support business objectives. Our client implemented a new enterprise requirements management method based on our RRM℠ approach that helped standardize the communication between business and IT.

All key IT managers and business analysts were trained in the newly adopted processes. Centerline mentored a variety of strategic project teams through completion and delivered the requirements phase of dozens of strategic projects in support of the change management initiative. Our activities allowed for cross-departmental collaboration and reduced the time-to-market of key business functions.

Global Services Standardization

A global health sciences company identified the need to standardize and scale IT Shared Services on a global scale.

Centerline was engaged to review the disparate requirements management processes, tools and approaches and help the client adopt both the Waterfall and Agile frameworks within our RRM℠ methodology. We were responsible for integrating our recommendations into their processes, culture and end-to-end delivery capabilities. We facilitated executive consensus for both the details of the methodology and the deployment plan. We trained hundreds of people across the organization; mentored many project teams around the world; and delivered dozens of discreet projects. Additionally, we aided in establishing metrics to measure the outcomes of the transformation and the increase of overall quality throughout the software development life cycle.


Digital Product Innovation

A global pharmaceutical company was exploring innovative ways to deploy the latest evolution of analytics, technologies (including wearables), social media and deeper EMR/EHR integration with providers, patients and payers.

Centerline was engaged to help facilitate multiple internal teams and the world’s leading innovative technology companies to develop possible minimally viable products (MVPs) to validate the business vision. Centerline also supported the establishment of detailed processes to replicate the successes across multiple therapeutic areas.
